Vandals Go Bowling on the Smurf Turf

I have a feeling that this is the Bowl game that most Hucksters are interested in. Tonight Rocky Bleier will give the keynote address at the US Bank Humanitarian Awards Dinner at Boise Center. More here.

Anyone want to venture a guess on the game’s outcome?

I predict 45-42 Vandals!! I am leaving Tuesday morning early to drive down with nine other friends and family members. I hope that being in the land of the Donks bodes well for us.

Just curious for Vandal fans. Will it be bittersweet to win a bowl game on the blue turf or will it be nice to finally win one in Boise?

CB - we’ve won on the blue turf before (but not recently, for sure) and in a previous bowl game before, so it will not be bittersweet for me (although, i think the old turf in ‘98 was a little less vibrant). I will, though, get tired of staring at that gimmick about 10 minutes in …

I wanted to go to this game very badly. Things just did not fall into place :( We’ll be watching at home.

I want a win, and I don’t care if it is on that god-awful ugly turf. It looks worse in HD.

Bowling Green is not a good team. If Idaho plays well and gives the ball to Woolridge, they will win easily.

This game should be called the Offense Bowl. Neither team has much of a defense. 52-50 Idaho.
