“This majestic bull elk statue prompts double takes from passers by along Church Road in Hauser Lake,” posts KerriT/OnLocation North Idaho. “I bet he’s fooled a few of his own kind, too.”
I’m in possession of quite a florid and yet at times lucid email from Mr. Elton sent last night or early in the morning. Mostly he’s off the track but the dude has a major mental illness. Hopefully he’ll get some appropriate treatment. I think he’s harmless to tell you the truth.
Maybe one day Sue. I used to work on a Mentally Ill Offender unit at a state hospital. Every so often the Secret Service would call or show up to interview one of the guys. Typically it meant one of them made some crazy threat against the prez (back then it was Carter then Reagan) and the SS had to check it out. Nobody ever got arrested. Nobody ever got charged.
I doubt Elton will do any real time in a corrections setting.

Did he used to post here as rocketsbrain? I guess he won’t make BlogFest.

No, Elton wasn’t Rocketsbrain. Although they both share similar targets of their rather frantic imaginations.

Do you suppose there’ll ever come a day when mental illness is decriminalized?
