Twitter, Anyone?

Twitter founders Biz Stone, left, and Evan Williams pose for a photo at their office in San Francisco, Thursday. Twitter Inc. revolves around riffing in messages limited to 140 keystrokes. Revenue has been conspicuously missing from the mix so far, raising questions about whether the nearly 3-year-old service can make the leap from intriguing fad to sustainable business. Question: Have you tried Twittering?

Considered it, decided it wasn’t for me. I have enough trouble trying to keep most of my blog posts short LOL

I was reluctant at first, didn’t see any value in it, but I’ve actually found it to be quite handy.

Yep, Twitter is really useful.. It reminds me of “The Borg” in Star Trek. A vast collection of all human intelligence… I know some folks are resistant, but “You will be assimilated”

I tried it… haven’t touched it in several weeks. It’s not as user friendly as I hoped… and I can do the same thing through facebook.

I’ve used it for a couple of months - it works fine for quick thoughts, haiku or news pieces.

So what you’re saying is Twiiter isn’t for those of us who think slowly and
    um
forget what we were saying and
    um
    have never suffered from hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliaphobia
and who are easily distracted like when I start typing and I hear my son playing Mario Party 8 and I think, “Geez, I haven’ played that game in forever…

yup. I love twitter!!! I use it somewhat differently than Facebook status. Facebook status is more personal stuff aimed at people I generally know offline. I use twitter to put in links to my own blog posts, fun links that may not be worthy of an entire post but that I want to mention just the same and I am linked with blipFM so I can comment via a song…(bad habit I have)
Just added you Chris. Anyone else want to follow me into the dark as well…feel free

I have understood forever how to keep comments short. And that was when I took classes in English back in Jr. High and High School. Packing the most meaning into the fewest words. Twitter keeps you from rambling. Never quite understood what Parker had against it.
