Holly, how many hours did you work at the Daily News? And how did the management go about announcing layoffs?

It’s no consolation to the laid off workers, but switching the Daily News to morning publication will probably be enough to get me to switch from the SR to the DN. The afternoon delivery of the DN has been my major reason for *not* subscribing to that paper despite living in Moscow.

It’s too bad they didn’t make the switch years ago… maybe could have saved those jobs?

Stop by and say ‘hi’ to Tim some day, a great guy.
