Question: What did you take away from the attack by the pet chimp on a human?/WorldNetDaily
- It was a freak event - one you would expect to see in the wild but not from a pet
- It was a tragic inexplicable event - no one is to blame
- The 9-1-1 operator did a great job working with a hysterical caller in a highly unusual situation
- All we can do is pray for the poor woman injured in this unfortunate attack
- Don’t try to make a pet out of a chimpanzee (More below)
People think chimpanzees are like humans but that’s a big mistake Giving Xanax to the chimp was foolish - no wonder the animal’s owner is changing her story Psychiatric drugs push some humans to violence - it apparently does the same for chimpanzees How does someone keep a 200-pound wild animal in her home for 15 years? Some government agency didn’t do its job It’s tragic the police didn’t immediately shoot the beast Years of brainwashing by animal-rights activists is the reason the cops delayed in shooting the chimp I’m appalled at the performance of the 9-1-1 operator Unexpected events and slow response by police - 2 more good reasons to have a firearm handy Other

Here’s my take on this: we will soon see animals rising up to take back what they believe is rightfully theirs: the earth. It starts with the primates; that monkey that got loose and bit people in Spokane last year, and now this chimp gone crazy. Soon the cute little chipmunks and squirrels will go renegade on us, and I already know my cat is trying to kill me every time he gets under my feet when I’m at the top of the stairs. Those holes your dog digs in your yard? Preparation for digging your grave! And don’t dare swim with the dolphins, it’s a trap.
Oh hell, now you got me worked up. I’ll be under my desk in a fetal position if anyone needs me.

The chimp was only doing what chimps do…DON’T OWN A WILD ANIMAL! What part of WILD ANIMAL don’t people understand? Chimps have no sense of ethics, right or wrong, or morality. That 2% difference in their DNA accounts for a whole lot of monkey business.
Leave them in the wild, protect them from poaching by NOT trying to obtain one as a pet.
Who’s stupider, the chimp, or the human?
In this case, the answer is simple.

Exactly what I said to my wife, Toadman; no reasoning power to decide right from wrong. Of course your namesake, while not an exception, could probably do no harm unless a toad would , for example jump down your throat just as you were about to speak.
