Sign Of The Times: Stimulus Plan

“Most Americans might not be aware that there’s more than one Oval Office,” posts Kerri Thoreson/OnLocation North Idaho. “Thousands of miles from Washington, DC, the Oval Office in Post Falls is encouraging the citizens of North Idaho to stimulate the local economy by dining out.”

Question: How often do you stimulate the local economy by dining out?

I used to go out for lunch every day. And dinner at least two or three times a week. Those days are long gone.

About once a month, at least for me. Hubby tends to eat lunches out a bit more often since he is usually out and about working on clients machines at their place.

More than I reasonably should. Pho for lunch today!

About the only way I can stimulate the economy now is when I can buy groceries. Only when my work hours begin to improve again can I consider dining out.

I do the restaurant thing once or twice a week.

I remember a Sandwich Shop (A Hoagie Place, I think) near the corner of 4th and Wallace (?) (somewhere in that vicinity) that had a sign in the window which read, “Come in and eat something before we both starve”…
