Blogfest ‘09: Trish’s Condom Dress

I promised you a condom dress if you attended Blogfest ‘09, and Trish Gannon/River Journal delivered for me. I’d guess the dress is 3 years old — first surfacing at a Halloween Party in Bonner County. It still receives second and third looks. I guess you could say that… Some people are intimidated by the sheer size of those things, and it just causes a constricting feeling in other men … Sort of like the joker alludes to above. Based on his comments at the time Anymouse actually saw the condom dress, I’m not exactlly sure how it actually affected him, but I have my suspicions…

Are you sure about that Joker? Just exactly when did you really happen upon HBO?

I’ll humor you though. Anymouse was a very conservative christian blogger that took great offense to DFO posting Trish’s condom dress aftre a halloween party a couple of years ago.

It was kind of a pinacle moment in HBO history, where a months-long political battle ended in a completely unexpected meltdown over the condom dress…

We never heard from Anymouse again…

You know, Joker, there are a lot of conspiracies floating around about your identity right now. Kind of curious that you would take interest in Anymouse…

How could anyone be offended by a condom dress?

I could see a dress made up of condoms that had been used as being offensive, but come on. They’ve never been to South Beach…

At the time, I was compelled to leave the comment similar to: “Calm down anymouse they make them in your size too…”

And, like I said, that was the last anybody heard of the infamous Anymouse

As I have never had one of those things on, I always relate to Elaine from Seinfeld, when she said after wondering why those things shrink,’ I don’t know how you guys walk around with those things’. I guess that says it all.

It seems a little tacky to wear a condom dress, but it is a party and if the one wearing the dress can handle it, why should I be offended? I’ve dressed up in some outrageous outfits for Halloween before, when I was a kid.
