Blogfest ‘09 Wild Card — 2/28/09

It’s finally here — Blogfest ‘09. Bloggers, commenters and blurkers are invited to join me from noon until 3 p.m. at MoonDollars/Post Falls (609 North Syringa, see directions in drop-down box below). The Spokesman-Review will pick up the pizza & pop. But there’ll also be beer on tap and great sandwiches and fries that you can purchase. Nothing fancy is planned. The primary focus of Blogfest is to give Berry Pickers time to talk to others they know only by online conversation. At halftime, JeanieSpokane, CindyH, Bent & Co. will present various awards they’ve conjured up for the occasion and dole out trinkets that the SR promotions staff gave them. Also, the gals’ll have a Doug Clark Trailer Park Girls CD to hand out. And KeithinCDA has a bunch of cool 20-ounce coffee take-out mugs from his old Spokane Valley truck stop to give away. I’ve met most of you. But not all. I’m looking forward to renewing acquaintances and meeting new friends. See you there …

am leaving from Clark Fork now…. have to stop in Sandpoint for my grandson’s basketball game, so will have to find a place on the way to change into the condom dress. Every now and then, I DO have a sense of the appropriate.

I posted pictures on “Bayviews” just now. Enjoy.

A little off the subject, but whilst we were choking down huge slices of pizza at the blogfest, the University of Washington won the conference championship, outright, by beating Arizona State, then today, beating Arizona. Bob Houbregs, later to play for the Minneapolis Lakerws of the NBA, was the talented center for the Huskies when they last won the conference back in 1953. The year I was a ninth grader at Renton HighSchool, home of the Seahawks.Hey, they aren’t the Cougs, but they are ours too.

  • Stickman on March 01 at 9:05 a.m.

It was nice to finally meet you EagleKeeper44. One of these summer days you need to come by for a walking stick and we can talk about our younger days in Southeast Asia.

  • Stickman on March 01 at 7:28 p.m.

I guess Truly said it best Kage, where the heck where you? No respect from now on.
