  • 11:32 a.m. A group of bicyclists heading for Yellowstone Trail and later Hayden is backing up H97 traffic @ Beauty Bay Hill. However, an officer said the bikers are riding single-file appropriately when he checked.
  • 11:07 a.m. CPD Blue is responding to a domestic on 3200 block of N. 8th St./CdA, where a woman reports that the male pulled a knife on her last night and may want to commit “suicide by cop.” Update (11:24 a.m.): Suspect is in custody and bleeding. CPD Blue asks for a medical response.
  • 10:15 a.m. Individuals are using buckets to try to extinguish a grass fire near Young’s Signs @ Seltice Way & Cedar/Post Falls.
  • 10:13 a.m. 22YO male attempted suicide by overdose on Country Ridge Court/Hayden.
  • 10:04 a.m. Madison Road (south of Spokane River) resident said he heard 2 males arguing down the hill nearby and then a gunshot about an hour ago.
  • 9:42 a.m. A 16- to 17YO male may have had a seizure before his vehicle hit another car across from Zip Stop on Sherman Avenue/CdA.
  • 9:15 a.m. A brindle pitbull is running loose near Coeur d’Alene Auto Recyclers
  • 8:52 a.m. A deer that was hit by a vehicle on I-90 near the state line is hiding in the roadside brush.
