KHQ: Dangerous Felon On Loose

The US Marshals Service has obtained an escape warrant for Burke.  Burke was charged in 2006 with Possession of Ammunition, after having been committed to a mental institution.  Burke was under investigation at the time by the Inland Northwest Joint Terrorism Task Force,  for threats to blow up public buildings and cause mass casualties at public events.  Burke plead guilty to the Federal charge and was subsequently sentenced to three years incarceration, followed by three years of supervised release. Burke has been involved in threats to public officials and witnesses involved in his trial.  On Saturday July 4th, Burke was seen in the area of Forker and Morrison roads, in Spokane County/KHQ.
