Harrison Man Dies In H97 Crash

A 36-year-old Harrison man was killed in a single-car crash near Harrison Saturday night, according to the Idaho State Police. Travis D. Cox was southbound on State Highway 97, near Milepost 78 (Thimbleberry) when he failed to negotiate a left curve. He drove off the highway, down an embankment, and collided with a tree.  Cox died at the scene. The investigation continues. ISP report below.

INCIDENT NARRATIVE:    Cox was driving his 2001 Dodge Ram pickup southbound on SH97 near Milepost 78 (Thimbleberry) when he failed to negotiate a left curve.  He drove off the highway and down an embankment where he collided with a tree.  Cox was deceased at the scene.  Investigation continues.
