Question: Have you ever seen a whale swimming in an ocean?

When I was working on the Oregon Coast, over by Waldport,Or.
I seen a bunch of whales from the Hiway. I miss the ocean and it’s peaceful rumblings at night and I never slept so good. I wouldn’t mind living near the ocean.

I hate it when this happens. The photo affects me the same as the one of the two headed kitten. Sometimes I think DFO may be a bit sick in the head.

Yes, when holidaying in Maine 18 months ago, we booked up on a whale watching boat trip, on a rickity old tin boat, or so I told the captain LOL to which he just smiled… I did think it would be pot luck to see anything, it was a 2 hour up and down ride out into the Atlantic and then we waited and waited……. and bloody hell, we was surrounded by them, it was a little scary at first cos they was bigger then the rickity tin boat…. one came up right along side the boat and if I had reached over I could of touched it……. we stayed for a little over an hour, watching them up and down leaving the most amazing whale footprints (thats where they dive and take in a deep breath and the water above leaves the most perfect flat round circle), they sprayed and played and at times I thought we was gonnas…. then it was 2 hours back to Portland and to shore……. I told the captain how gobsmacked I was and I also told him that at first I thought it was just a scam to get our dosh, cos the trip came with no guarantees……. again he smiled LOL and then laffed….. I bet he thought ‘bloody holidaymakers’ lol……… it was not only for me but also for my Jacob one of the most amazing things we have ever seen EVER…….even though me doodle maties puked up most of the 5 hours lmfao…… the best part was standing at the front of that stickie out bit at the front of the boat and watching the whales from up high and as if we was in the actual ocean…..
It was one of the highlights of our trip…..

I’ve seen them swimming up and down the coast…first a little puff of vapor coming from the blow-hole, and if your timing’s right, you can maybe see the top of its head before it plows back under. Amazing, such a big creature yet you can only see a little bit of it.
