Scanner Traffic — 3/3/09

  • 4:37 p.m. A Rathdrum High teacher reports 3 teen boys are on the roof of Super 1 Foods/Rathdrum.
  • 4:27 p.m. A deer has hit a moving van from Indiana and been killed on I90, east of CDA. Kootenai County work crews have removed the one that landed on the road.
  • 3:54 p.m. A truck with a wide load is stuck @ 5th & Bank in Wallace.
  • 2:59 p.m. An 86YO male was found dead at his home in Dalton Gardens.
  • 2:44 p.m. R/P complains of target practice taking place at gravel pit on Diagonal Road.
  • 2:23 p.m. Female complains that a male is standing behind her vehicle and won’t let her leave at Idaho Home Medical, east of Albertson’s on Ironwood Drive. It could be a domestic dispute over the exchange of a hunting bow.
  • 12:55 p.m. A dog has fallen in the water at Riverstone Pond — and the R/P can’t get the dog out.

·  10:37 p.m. R/P on Latoure Creek Road/Cataldo complains that a neighbor’s dog is chasing his chickens.

 

·  9:43 a.m. A restroom door in a building at North Idaho College won’t open, creating a bigger problem than ordinary b/c students are taking tests in the building.

 

·  8:59 a.m. Nils Rosdahl tells Huckleberries that the eastern end of

Thomas Lane
is flooded, as are some nearby homes.

 

·  8:56 a.m. R/P reports she was almost hit in a crosswalk by a female driver who sped off n/b on McGuire Road/Post Falls.

 

·  8:20 a.m. A janitor at North Idaho College asked a co-worker to remove an exercise bike from behind a college building, stating: “I don’t think anybody is going to be working out on it today.”

    Geez. Put the car in reverse and floor it, lady.
