This Nov. 20, 2008, photo shows the execution chamber at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Wash. Cal Coburn Brown is scheduled to die in about 10 hours for the murder of Holly Washa in 1991. If the execution is carried out, Brown will be the first person executed in Washington since 2001. Story here. (AP Photo/Ted S. Warren) Question: Do you care whether murderer Brown is executed at Walla Walla after midnight?
Duffer on March 12 at 2:08 p.m.
No, I don’t care. As far as I’m concerned they can do it before midnight since after all, he’s lived for years longer than he obviously should have.

I don’t care one little itty bit.

At least they’re kind enough to give him a pillow on the table. I wouldn’t be so nice.

One thing really bothers me. How in the world would Gary Ridgeway, the green river killer, who admitted to killing 52 women, not get the death penalty if this guy does. If the death penalty was ever meant for anyone, it would be the Ridgeways, Bundys (Ted was a Husky, a Coug fan reminder), and Duncans. King County trial for Ridgeway, he wouldn’t have been so lucky in Cda, imo.

Yes, it bothers me. Death is not the worst punishment, clearly isn’t a deterrent to others, and the sentence allowed him to have hope for many years.

Thanks Digger, I wouldn’t have been that nice as well.
