More Info: Nate Mansfield, the oldest son of Dennis and Susan Mansfield, passed away Wednesday at his home in Kansas City, Mo. He was 27. Nathan Mansfield’s bout with addiction and his incarceration on drug-related charges led his father to start a prison ministry and a number of transition houses. What Nathan went through “helped me realize what other parents are going through. I did it for them,” Dennis Mansfield said Wednesday.
DFO: Please join me in extending condolences to Dennis Mansfield, a Boise area blogger and former congressional candidate, whose oldest son died accidentally in Missouri Wednesday. Mansfield provides a brief photo history of his son here.
