Me: Oh - while cleaning out my Mom’s house I found a casette of Kelly Hughes from 1983! Idaho Born it was called. I know it belonged to my sister who graduated with him from Post Falls High. He looks so young and I need to pop it into a casette player and give it a listen.
Question: Do you enjoy country Western music?

No. I do not. I find the subject matter that most country music covers to be something I do not identify with at all.

I used to like it - lived in Montana, it’s almost a requirement you know? Don’t listen to it at all now. Haven’t for about 10 years.

Depends what mood I’m in, could be a country day, or rock,or classical, or comedy,or big bands but no rap or heavy metal. That hurts my ears.

Back about in the ‘60’s, the State of Washington had its ‘blue’ laws and no alcohol bevridges were sold on Sundays. So, the State Line was a big deal on Sunday. Most bands playing there played country and western and I came to enjoy it. But I like to listen to the classic artists. Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Ferliln Husky, JIm Reeves, etc. etc . Fwiw, the Willie Nelson channel on satellite radio is pretty good with it.
