More Info: Idaho Freedom Foundation Executive Director Wayne Hoffman today applauded Nampa Mayor Tom Dale and the City of Nampa for becoming the second Idaho city to become more transparent by disclosing details of the city’s spending records on a website.

Question: Should Coeur d’Alene and other North Idaho cities follow suit and post city checkbook expenditures online?

    I would love for Moscow to adopt this policy - it might keep friviolus spending to a minimum and keep us from getting hit with the maximum 3% property tax increase each year.

    I would like to see every company that receives even one penny in bailout money post their expenditures. It is, after all, our money and we wouldn’t be good stewards if we didn’t keep track of where our money is being spent.
