Post Falls Mayor Clay Larkin told Huckleberries moments ago that he plans to announce his decision re: another election bid Friday. Larkin said he’s surprised that incumbents and possible opponents in Coeur d’Alene have announced their re-election intentions so early. Post Falls City Council incumbents whose term expires this year are: Linda Wilhelm, Ron Jacobson and Joe Bodman.

I guess I don’t track the city races as close as county races, but 7 months or so before election day doesn’t seem all that early to plan for and fund raise for a race in one of our larger cities.

As the kage mann has stated, how can I possibly be fair when I only like the ones I meet. I have met Clay at the bogfest, and liked him a lot. As for kage, I have never met him, and my opinion is to be saved for the future. To me, to meet the ones that are running is something I hold in high regard. The rest, come by and impress me. Thanks Clay, I think you are great for your city, besides what the kage mann thinks about being open minded in only liking those we meet.

I apologize for actually reading one of kage mann’s posts, as I promised I never would again. That promise still holds, as I make a point of looking more closely at the avatars and making sure I avoid the one that has many unusual posts. As for being fair and unbaised, I take each person for who they are, not what they post on a daily basis.
