Spokane Shriners Hospital May Shut

The Shriners Hospital for Children in Spokane, which provides pediatric specialty care programs at no cost to families, may close as a part of sweeping budget cuts. Hospital executives are telling the 172 employees this afternoon that the hospital is on a list for possible closure. A decision will be made in the coming months.
