Marmie: Wouldn’t Mind Marrying Again

Marmitetoasty: Oh, on me post about one of me nippers mums remarrying … I AINT against them getting married — lord forbid — Im all for marriage and would one day LOVE to get married again … I just didnt see the sense in such a HUGE second marriage with so much dosh when they have other needs … but, each to their own … and if its what they both want then so be it … Me, I would remarry in an old shed or barn or in a meadow that cost nuffin, if I just loved ‘him’ to the tips of me socks :)

Question: What was the setting for your wedding?

First and probably last time round was our Village flint church (I know I know I dont do God)… which was then 101 years old that year back in 1981.. then a little vintage car ride to Abshot Manor where we was their first wedding….. the new owners were best friends of me tosser X’s parents…..

    Wouldnt do that again though….

Boca Raton. Friday the 13th. Poured down rain.
    Best day of my life.

We got married in the church that we’ve been a part of since we were children. It was lovely even though we’d planned it in seven weeks. Family and church family did everything from decorations to photographs to baking the cake. It cost about $500 including the dress. Not a bad investment for 16 years and counting. :)

Jen, I to only had 6-7 weeks to plan everything, or my tosser X’s father wouldnt of let him have a few days off work (tosser worked for his father’s business)….I remember the vicar asking me if I was pregnant lmfao…… oh my…… I wasnt by the way - only I had to do it all on me own, and I mean all of it…. then my parents and ‘his’ just turned up at the church LOL

It all should of been a sign ;)

Marmie, I only got asked once if I was pregnant, but I’m sure others wondered. Obviously I wasn’t unless I stayed that way for 7 years until Josh was born. :) We’re just kind of spur of the moment people, I guess.

And, Marmie, if you get married again, I will come across the pond to be your wedding planner. Then all you’ll have to do is show up and enjoy the day. The way it’s supposed to be.

And he sang, My Cup runnth over, to me….
    It was great.
Also it was a pot luck, and we provided the meat and drinks.

it also was after going to gether for 13 years… wanted to make sure the relationship was going to last… lol…
I got the best of the deal.

On the beach at Lanikai on the island of Oahu, with the ceremony performed by my sister on Christmas Day. Easy to always remember my anniversary. It was the same beach I spent many years playing on as a young boy.

We got married on Swan Lake right out of Bigfork, Mt. Put up 150 people and had a 3 day wedding. A couple of different bands and Bob Simmons was the strolling minstrel. It was a wedding I would like to have attended not having been the groom.
