Question: How connected are you with your cell phone? Do you feel lost without it?

Luckily I’m an AT&T retailer and thanks to the benefits of SIM technology I was able to activate a new SIM card on one of my store’s loaner phones so I’m not disconnected for voice calls - and I can put the updated SIM in my BlackBerry when I get home tonight.

I am so totally lost without my cell phone. Not only does it have all my contact phone numbers, but it also enables me to receive and respond to e-mails while out and about during the day. It never fails that if I leave it in the office, I’ll need it.

Not. Don’t have a Blackberry or PDA. I tried keeping a Franklin planner and made it to January 3. I tried it again a couple years later with the same result. I won’t answer my cell phone if I am driving or at a restaurant or in an elevator. I leave my purse (that holds my cell phone) in various places all over town and all over the state - in restaurants, in cabins (that get locked for the summer right after I left and not discovered until 300 miles later), in cars, at friends’ houses, at my house, at work. What good does a cell do me if I don’t have it with me all the time. Interestingly enough, whenever I get my purse returned to me, everything is still there, including the cell phone (with NO missed calls).

I have an iPhone, and I do like it, but I am not addicted to it. I hate being so connected sometimes…

I love my Blackberry… I can see email, hear music, take and view photos, Follow HBO, check Facebook, and even talk on the phone!!! I could live without it ,tho, and sometimes leave it somewhere in the house or truck for days….

Let’s see, how addicted am I to my cell. Well yesterday morning I grabbed it and put it in my pocket. When I got home after work and went to plug it in realized I’d never even turned it on. Today I left it at home and so far I haven’t missed it at all :)

Gotta have my cell. It’s my work phone.
But I do not text or use the online features, nor will I be a slave to a Blackberry.
If I had a PDA, I’d become of those people who are constantly looking at a rectangular object in their hands and fail to enjoy the world around them.

Update - Back at home, swapped out my SIM card and all has been restored with the world. I did realize that it is possible to go a day without my cell phone since I don’t get as many calls as I do text messages and e-mails.

i’d be broke without the cell phone. I often wake up dreading how many voice mails I have on it. The alternative is much much worse, but it’s gotten a little outta control lately. I would say I’m tied to it like a ball and chain.
