Since all I have is weeds, I am not concerned.

My Mother NEVER planted before Memorial Day - Or I should say that very weekend. We couldn’t go camping until the garden was in and that was usually the weekend it got done. She never did it before then because it seemed there was usually a frost.

The last frost date for Spokane is May 15. But…. we tend to get too excited, and forget it’s spring. Mother Nature doesn’t have her calendar handy all the time. Memorial Day, not before!

Last time I looked the snow was still on Mt. Spokane. You normally don’t plant until it’s gone. Similar over there in CdA, like when the snow’s gone from Mica Peak or something?
