Spokane Blogs — 5/12/09

This weekend’s Depot Days in Wallace kicked off the classic car show season in North Idaho. Next Thursday through Sunday is Lost in the ‘50s in Sandpoint, then comes Car d’Lane June 12 & 13 and Post Falls’ River City Rod Run July 17 & 18. Most community celebrations include car shows, we love our old cars!/Councilwoman KerriT, OnLocation North Idaho.

I totally missed Depot Days. Dang! That is such a great car show and this last weekend was PERFECT! I managed two car shows anyway - here in Spokane. One at a church on Pines and then we flew up Market to Hillyard and another show at a bar behind the Safeway corp building. Good shows both! A lot of the same cars were at both. Someday, when I win a million dollars on the lottery :( Mechanic Man will cherry up all his oldies but goodies. I received a NICE gift certificate to the CDA Hotel and have made reservations for the CDA car show for both Friday and Saturday nights - hope to swing over to Stickman’s and show off Mechanic Man so people don’t think he’s my imaginary friend.

    what a difference a comma makes…
I read the above and thought he meant it was next Thursday, as in next week….
But actually he meant, next, Thursday, as in next up is Thursday through Sunday
