….loved it! Nothing could make us crack up more than “Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions.”

Once a month I’d skip taking the bus, walk from school to the heart of town to a newsstand, buy my Mad and walk 4 miles to get home. Mom saw my willingness to spend my bus fare on a stupid magazine indicative of many things.

“Spy vs Spy” and “Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions.”

Yesterday it was Star Trek and today we have Mad (magazine) so I would suspect some sort of Monty Python post tomorrow could make it a perfect week.

Of course. It was the thing to read back then.

I read it religously along with Grit newpaper. Do anyone remember Grit?
BTW, I’m not slamming here, but seriously Anymouse always reminded me of Alfred E. Newman for some reason.

Bought my son a subscription for his thirteenth birthday last year. I’ve already read this issue.

You got in here ahead of me Sissy (InlandEmpireGirl). She’s absolutely right. We used to laugh hysterically at Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions…Are they twins…Is it raining outside….all of them…
Bent, I remember Grit.

Some Mad, mostly National Lampoon.
Grandparents had numerous old (1920’s maybe?) Grit newsmags, out a the farm/lake. LOVED reading them, 40-50 years later.

Oh, boy, did I ever read Mad Magazine. I remember reading one of their movie parodies, “20:01: A Space Idiocy”. I also enjoyed “Spy vs. Spy”.

Yes.
