During my recent stay in McKenzie-Willamette hospital in Springfield, OR, I felt well taken care of by the nurses and the physician overseeing my pneumonia.
I couldn’t eat the food, though. Well, I could eat the oatmeal, but for every other meal, I depended upon the kindness of my wife and friends to bring me food.
The hospital’s food, unfortunately, was deplorable.
When Julianna was born last year, I was at Kootenai Medical for three days and thought the food was really good. I loved the room service. I could call anytime I wanted (within limits) and order anything on the menu. They had a good selection of food and even had milkshakes.
