I was a fan of Spider Man and my brother was more of a collector. He bought the 1st issue of many different series. He followed the transformers as a fan though.

When I was a kid, I never once read a comic book. Not sure why…I suppose I was too busy with the 20 sided dice to notice anything else.

    ;-)

I still have a 1951 copy of The Lone Ranger.

I have a huge comic book collection, and I also was a Spider Man fan. I started buying any and all first editions back in the Seventies, so I have quite a few of them, although I have no idea if any of them are worth anything. I suspect my Silver Surfer first edition might be worth some money. I also loved The Legion of Super Heroes, X-Men, Flash, and the Avengers.
