In the business section today, the CdA Press reports that Village at Riverstone will have a closeout auctin for 36 condominiums June 14. Prices begin at $180,000 to $490,000 on quality condos that previously were priced at $329,000 to $899,900, with square footage ranging from 792 to 2,002. Kennedy Wilson of Beverly Hills will do the auctioneering duties.
Question: What do you make of this closeout sale? And/or: Would you be interested in living in a Riverstone condo?

I would hate to be the sucker who bought one of those for $800K. OK, since I feel like stirring up things a bit, how about this suggestion. The LCDC can buy some for the homeless.

I have been there maybe once in the last two years. I would never want to live there, even if given one for free. But that’s just me.

Wow, $180,000 for a Bargain Basement Condo, where you have people living above and below you…complete with sounds from the nearby highway and people crawling all over the general vicinity…Sign me up now! Wait, don’t.
