No. The spam freaked with my work computer today. It apparently snuck through our filters somehow yesterday, but didn’t show up in my inbox until this morning along with several other emails that were sent yesterday, which of course led to a user error (me accidently deleting all the email in my inbox), and an all day retrieval ordeal that has me owing our IT staff lunch or something…
And to top it off, I have to go back after all my recovered email (6,000+ files) lands in my inbox, and start deleting and archiving all over again (another two or three hour job), so much for getting out early tomorrow…
I lucked out. No spam at all!!!!! As much as I would love to crow about my luck,,,,, I remember a similar incident that happened to me a few years back. It wasn’t fun at all.
If you have a blocker in place, no spam will ever get through. I guess I am lucky in that sense, but again, I don’t want anyone coming over that I don’t know.
My only real problem, is how to delete all 2921 spams that hit yesterday. some of my systems, such as RR and Gmail, one has to first delete to spam then delete again to rid ones self of the pesky critters.
None, thanks be, survived to dive into my inbox, thanks to AVG.
See what happens when I don’t check in at HBO for a day? I find out that the spam attack I got too (over 4200 messages in 2 days) was part of my participation at HBO. Gah!

Got it Day 1, then nothing on Day 2. Today it returned. We haven’t seen the end of this.

I’ve actually had less spam than usual. I’m grateful for that.

None yesterday and none today.
It looks like we’ve recovered from the great spamish flu pandemic of ‘09.

I really must check in here more often!
