Aloe gel. My natural color is skim milk (= light blue/gray) and no matter how careful I am with the sun screen, I usually get burned at some point. Aloe works for me in 24 hours - especially if I put it on before I go to bed.
Same as Pia. I use frequent applications of sun screen. Never tan. Always burn at some point - like if I forget that it’s not winter anymore and stand around looking at cars at a car show, thinking how unusual it is to be warm and suddenly realize that I am on fire. Aloe vera works great!
Count me in as another for aloe vera gel. I like to get the stuff with lidocaine in it if I can. Otherwise the pure gel is great. Never thought of putting it in the fridge, have to give that a try this year.

“…what’s your tried and true sunburn remedy?”
A hammock, some shade, another cerveza Sol, and a nap. Works every time.

I keep clear aloe vera gel in the fridge all the time. Cools me right down immediately.

Yep…. I also keep aloe vera gel in the fridge at all times… it also helps with cooking burns. Ouch! I hate burns.
