The picture is amazing. That fellow is wearing skinny skate skis, and super light weigh boots-usually only seen on the cross country trails.

Well, the caption says “Nordic” skiers which would explain his gear, but my whole family are Nordic skiers and none of us had done anything like this! (At least not intentionally.)
