An alert Kootenai County sheriff’s deputy caught two men allegedly trying to rob the Dalton Market, 5632 15th, Dalton Gardens, last night. While patrolling in the area of 15th and Dalton, the deputy when he saw what appeared to be a robbery in progress at the Dalton Market at 5632 N. 15th Street in Dalton Gardens. The robbers, who were wearing masks and displaying a handgun, ran from the store, got into a vehicle and fled from the Deputy. The Deputy pursued the suspects northbound on 15th street, around the Lookout Drive / Hayden View Loop, then back south on 15th street, until they turned east on Dalton Avenue. Just east of 17th street, where there is a sign that indicates that the road is a DEAD END, the alleged robbers tried to turn around, but the Deputy rammed the suspect vehicle, ending the pursuit. Lets hope these two are the ones responsible for the rash of robberies. Does anyone know who the deputy was? The deputy needs a big kudo for great work.

Redman-there’s a deputy that lives like 4 houses away from the Dalton Market, so it might have been him.
