I was lucky to be in the crowd tonight. Welcome to SpoKONG, BOL KONG! What a sweet shot he has. I know the opponent was a creampuff but Sacre looks red hot this year. Bouldin doing what he does. This Zag team has what others have lacked-deep Defense. Meech stepped up as well after a rough go against Michstate. GOTTA improve at the charity stripe.
Hate to look to the future but in two years this is what we have (if they all stay):
    Sacre, sr-RS
    Meech, sr
    Olynyk: jr
    Harris, jr
    Kong, sr-RS
    Dower, soph-RS
    Poling, jr-PS
    Gibbs, jr-RS
    Vilarino, jr
    Stockton, soph-RS
    Arop, jr
    Hart, soph-RS
    STACKED!!!

True Story: Wed. afternoon I went on a bus tour of Spokane with a bunch of CVB/hospitality industry folks. While driving through a South Hill neighborhood the tour guide said, “And if you look to your right you can see John Stockton out mowing his lawn.”

It was probably the highlight of the tour :-)

When I told my husband he said, “Why is John mowing this late in the year and what kind of riding mower did he have?”

They didn’t cover that on the tour.

@Cindy - that is hilarious! I saw John Stockton at the Men’s NCAA tournament in Spokane in 07. Was surprised to find he wasn’t any bigger than me - didn’t challenge him to a game of one on one though.

@JM - I like your enthusiasm. – it should be an interesting year. I hope Boulden learns to protect the ball a little better in key situations and Gooden flourishes into a guard that can penetrate to the basket under control when they have to have a basket. The team with better guard play wins more often than not in the NCAA’s.

90 to 55? Great skill? YES!! Sportsman heart? Not so much.

Hate to say it but that photo just looks bad. And the media should recognize that and not use it. I know you like a little shock value here DFO, but that photo looks like 4 white boys beating the black guy.

Now we obviously know that isn’t the case, but why run a photo that looks that way?

And Honest George, how would the other team feel if Gonzaga started just laying down when they were up by 30? Sympathy from the opposing team is worse humiliation than getting beat badly.

CB, did I miss your winky face, or is your politically correct, liberal sensitivty peeking through? ;-)
I never though the picture was anything but a shot of a basketball game.

No winky face, Just thought this photo was in bad taste.
