Me: I Had The Time Of My Life, But …

OK - went to my 30th class reunion in August in Hamilton Montana. I had the BEST possible High School experience that I think anyone could. It was a small school. Not too clique-ee. By the time we were Seniors everyone pretty much got along and could hang out together. I did not grow up in Hamilton. Still to this day, I don’t completely feel like I belonged there because many of my classmates went to school together for ALL 12 YEARS! Can you imagine? I think that is the coolest thing, and I have to say I was so excited when my son graduated from Post Falls High and he was a 12 year-er (he didn’t get why I thought that was so cool)/It’s Just Me. More here.

Question: Which high school clique did you belong to?

I belonged to the “I don't belong to a clique” clique.

    I'm with ID,

I worked really hard to avoid being in a click. I even had lockers on two different floors of my high school So I could hang with friends wherever they were.

By the way, my freshman son just told me, most of his friends are juniors and seniors. Should I be worried? Cindy you owe me some advice.

I too am proud that he is on his way to being a twelver. Neither I nor my wife were.

@Arpie Honestly? I was more concerned when my oldest son hung around freshman when he was a junior. I thought it spoke of his maturity and I was right.
All depends on the friends. Get to know his buddies in any way you can. It makes a world of difference.

Band geek but I mostly hung out with the percussionists, who are the coolest of the band geeks, in fact most aren't geeks at all.
