So much for stealth. So much for muted optimism and measured expectations, and a Gonzaga basketball season with an almost pre-1999 dynamic. The Zags blew their cover this week. Perhaps they weren’t informed of the plan to keep it down to a low hum. By Monday, they will find themselves back in the Top 25, as if they’d just gone away for a long weekend.
