@ Jen… not really. There's been a wild peacock running loose (probably an escaped pet) in a private field between Project high and I-90. The field was bordered the backyard of my old house, and we'd hear that peacock screech at all hours - usually late evening into the early a.m.
4:57 p.m. R/P reports her husband is on his way to confront a neighbor re: a dog poisoning @ Twin Lakes & Fish roads/Rathdrum.
I noticed this right as I was leaving work and realized it's right by our place. I admit I went straight home to check on our dogs and was happy to see they were fine and they were happy to see me give them their supper. Even though they are fenced that keeps them in but doesn't keep someone from throwing something in the yard.
It takes a very low, low person to poison an animal. If you have trouble with the owners, deal with them, don't take it out on the animals.
