High Noon: Pet Diets?!

"I have failed as a parent and as an American. I have just purchased diet food for my cats. That is a sad commentary on something. And it is no compliment to me or to this society or, least of all, to the hairy lard buckets in our house"/Bill Hall, from his new book, "Cat Butler," as provided by CindyH. ("Cat Butler" is available at Amazon.com and other locations listed below.)

Question: Have you ever put your pet on a diet?

“Cat Butler,” former Lewiston Tribune Opinion Editor Bill Hall’s collection of columns about cats, is on Amazon.com, both paperback and Kindle. Also, Bill e-mails Huckleberries, “I contacted Aunties in Spokane Saturday and they talked to me about attending a group authors signing in a few weeks. So I assume that means they will be stocking the book soon. I’ll contact them tomorrow and let you know. In addition, I will be contacting Hastings in Coeur d’Alene. The Hastings stores in Lewiston and Moscow are already carrying the book. So I don’t doubt you will be finding the book there as well. I let you know on that, too. In addition, people can obtain the book through the Lewiston Morning Tribune by phone or mail. The Tribune, like Amazon, will ship the book to anyone.”
