GOP: Get Involved In City Elections
Jonathan Parker, executive director of the Idaho Republican Party, said its state central committee passed a resolution in June encouraging Republicans to become more involved in municipal elections. "I think it's pretty clear that the Democratic Party has been treating Boise municipal races more like a partisan race than the Republican Party has and a lot of our membership has been tired of sitting back and watching them be involved," Parker said. "As a result, we are taking a more active approach"/Ben Bodkin, Twin Falls Times-News. More here.
