PM Scanner Traffic — 10.27.09

5:02 p.m. Possible pharmacy robbery at a new Walgreens/H95 & Honeysuckle. Suspect is said to have white hair and a scruffy beard and is wearing a stocking cap. Male in late 20s or early 30s. Male handed employee a note requesting drugs and had a gun. He's wearing a Navy-blue coat, with black patches on elbows, that rides down to his knees.

  • 5:13 p.m. Chimney fire in 300 block of Henry/Post Falls.
  • 4:38 p.m. A black Expedition with Washington plates reportedly was swerving into oncoming traffic on Seltice Way & Pleasantview.
  • 3:53 p.m. Kroc Center reports a suspicious person on the premises.
  • 3:48 p.m. 4 or 5 tires are on I-90 in the Post Falls area, causing vehicles to swerve.
  • 3:46 p.m. 25YO woman wants to check into the KMC mental ward to get away from her boyfriend and her kids.

  • 3:41 p.m. Motorcyclist complaining of leg injury after crashing @ Howell & Falling Star Loop/Post Falls.
  • 3:37 p.m. Lights @ Government Way & Hanley aren't recycling. 
  • 3:03 p.m. Officer asks for street department after finding a dead cat @ 3rd & Spokane/Post Falls.
  •  2:24 p.m. Joy on Mullan Trail Road/CdA reports she has an injured husky in her garage, possibly the one reported missing in the newspaper.
  • 2:11 p.m. Daniel in 8800 block of Atlas reports an ongoing problem w/a male trespasser.
  • 1:52 p.m. Someone is shooting some kind of weapon, possibly a tennis ball gun, out the window of a pickup on Trestle/Rathdrum. R/P is concerned for kids in the area.
  • 1:25 p.m. R/P @ Bonzai Bistro reports a harassing phone call.
  • 1:13 p.m. Gravel and dust are blowing out of an uncovered truck @ I-90 weigh station.
  • 12:35 p.m. R/P reports her neighbor's dog attacked her dog last night.
  • 12:24 p.m. A Department of Lanes rig is involved in a noninjury crash @ H41 & Scarcello/Twin Lakes.
  • 12:22 p.m. 2 juvenile males in plaid are pushing each other while three other juvenile males are watching @ Landings Park, Princetown Lane/CdA.
  • 12:05 a.m. Motorist on I-90 reports a bicyclist in a lime-green jacket and helmet is lying on his back, not moving, along the Centennial Trail, e/b @ M/P 9 (Huetter rest stop).
