  • 4:45 p.m. R/P reports a number of street signs are lying in the parking lot @ Nettleton Gulch & Wyatt @ foot of Canfield Mountain.
  • 4:35 p.m. A woman on Stevens/Rathdrum who has access to hunting rifles is threatening to shoot herself in the presence of a young girl.
  • 4:17 p.m. 5 horses are loose on Ramsey & Brunner/Athol.
  • 3:48 p.m. Car fire @ H95 & Conkling Park Road.
  • 3:36 p.m. R/P reports seeing a vehicle go by her residence w/2 two does strapped to the hood. Doe season is closed.

  • 3:30 p.m. A group of juveniles are fighting @ H53 & Mill/Rathdrum.
  • 3:08 p.m. An adult has detained 2 juveniles who were beating up on a 3rd at the alternative school in Post Falls.
  • 2:47 p.m. A truck is parked on Post Falls city property and may have illegally been driven on the Centennial Trail.
  • 2:39 p.m. Reportedly, a gas line is “cut into” a Jenny Lynn Lane/CdA home.
  • 2:34 p.m. A passenger began threatening Coeur d’Alene Casino customers after getting off CityLink bus and now is in the casino office quoting Bible verses.
  • 2:25 p.m. Officer reports 2 dirt bikers ran from him when he tried to make a stop on USFS Road 206, east of Hayden.
  • 2:06 p.m. Circle Drive/Hayden resident reports attempted fraud by letter.
  • 1:41 p.m. A s/b truck has lost a load of logs near H95 & Wyoming/Hayden and damaged a state highway sign.
  • 1:39 p.m. R/P is requesting an officer to her quarantined dog out of Post Falls animal shelter.
  • 1:38 p.m. A male is stretched out under the overpass @ I-90 & Pleasantview/Post Falls.
  • 1:33 p.m. Lynn @ Harrison & Johnson/CdA wants to see an officer re: an auto burglary Wednesday night.
  • 1:31 p.m. A person may have suffered a fractured arm in a crash b/n a Toyota Sequoia and a Honda that’s blocking H95 & Ironwood, south of KMC.
  • 12:20 p.m. R/P reports that 2 brindle Rottweiler mixes were dropped off @ Mullan Trail & Sunnyside/CdA.
  • 12:18 p.m. A vehicle is pointed the wrong way on a w/b ramp on I-90 & M/P 4/Post Falls after being involved in a hit-and-run. Run vehicle is headed w/b on interstate.

      It seems that there are an awful lot of horses loose stories lately. I can think of three scenarios. One: Poor fencing. Two: Poor fencing and hungry horses breaking out in desperation. Three: Hose owners unable to feed their animals, let them out on purpose.
