Labrador Fires Campaign Manager

State Rep. Raul Labrador failed to meet fundraising goals and has let campaign manager Max Hunsacker go. But Labrador, R-Eagle, says he's still close in the May 25 GOP primary for the 1st District U.S. House seat against front-runner Vaughn Ward. "My opponent's running scared, because he doesn't understand how he can outspend me 10-to-1 and we're running neck and neck," Labrador said Wednesday. Ward campaign manager Ryan O'Barto declined to respond directly, but said, "We have been gaining a lot of momentum over the past year." Hunsacker said the parting was amicable. "I continue to support Raul's candidacy and continue to advise him on some matters," he said/Dan Popkey, Idaho Statesman. More here.

Question: Are the wheels starting to come off the Raul Labrador Express?
