DOTC: ‘Illegal Canadians’ Don’t Vote

Kootenai County Clerk Dan English in CdA Press guest opinion: We do not have "a bunch of illegal Canadians" voting in our elections. What we do have is a federal law that protects the voting rights of U.S. citizens living in other countries, whether they are military, missionaries, retirees, or whatever. By federal law, American citizens living abroad retain their voting rights, and their voter registration is tied to a specific place: city, county, state and nation. This law gives no time restrictions. We do not have multiple classes of voters in Idaho. If someone is a registered voter then they get to vote in any local election they are qualified for, not just the federal elections. More here.

Question: Does anyone out there really believe that Dan or anyone in his office intentionally tried to skew election results?
