A student youth leader from a popular North Idaho church was arrested last week and charged with several counts of sexual abuse of young girls. Post Falls Police say Jordan Vernon, 20, was a student leader at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. In 2008 police began an investigation into Vernon after they received reports he was making inappropriate sexual advances to a 12-year-old member of the congregation.
