Hayden, PF WalMarts To Open In ‘10

Late-summer openings are anticipated for new Walmart stores in Hayden and Post Falls. The Hayden store, at the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 95 and Honeysuckle Avenue, will be a mid-size store at about 213,000 square feet, Walmart says. Located on 19 acres with 968 planned parking spaces, it will include a seasonal garden area and a fast-food tenant that hasn’t been determined. It will be Hayden’s second-largest business structure, behind the Prairie Shopping Center. The parcel development required $1.3 million in impact fees for the restructuring of the Highway 95 intersection. The walls are up on the Hayden Walmart store/Nils Rosdahl, Handle Extra. More here.

Question (also poll question in left rail): Do you shop at WalMart? Why? Why not?
