OTC: Military Serves Us All The Time

"One of my best friends called me Wednesday to tell me he was being deployed. He joined the Army two months after we graduated from high school and has been serving our country for the past three years. In all that time he’s only bounced from one city to the other, and now he’s being sent to Haiti to help with disaster relief. Although my gut sunk a little when he said “deployed,” I know he’s going to help a lot of people. It was a reality check to what all our military does for others and us"/Elizabeth Rudd, FrontRow editor, UI Argonaut. More Off the Cuff here.

Question: Do you have a family member or friend serving overseas at the moment? Where? Tell us about him or her?
