Scanner: Robbers Hit Rathdrum Bank

  • 11:49 a.m. Caller reports that a vicious pitbull attacked him while walking @ Tellum & Roberts/Athol.
  • 11:46 a.m. Patrol officers are looking for a silver "two-door Honda-type vehicle" that was seen leaving the Rathdrum Wells Fargo on H53.
  • 11:40 a.m. Wells Fargo/Rathdrum manager reports the bank has been robbed. One robber was in all black and the other had an orange hood. At least one robber had a gun. Manager not sure if robbers left in vehicle.
  • 11:08 a.m. Caller reports disabled vehicle on 4th in front of Coeur d'Alene High -- and driver appears to be in distress.
  • 11:02 a.m. Garwood Elementary on Ramsey Road has received a bomb threat in a phone caller from an older male. Officials have evacuated the school.

  • 10:43 a.m. Individual in KCSD lobby reports possible drug problem w/Dirne Clinic patient.
  • 10 a.m. Responders are checking a fluid spill from non-injury crash @ 6th & Wallace/CdA.
  • 9:42 a.m. An officer has caught a boy who ran away from Lakeside Elementary in Plummer.
  • 9:20 a.m. A white goat is roaming loose on road @ Hayden & Meyer/Rathdrum.
  • 9:15 a.m. Caller reports that a male in a white van w/a ladder on the back is shooting across the road at big game on Elder/Worley.
  • 8:26 a.m. Kootenai County Courthouse workers report cardiac problem.
  • 8:24 a.m. A male who turned a loose puppy over to animal control is concerned that it might be destroyed.
