TGIF Wild Card — 10.29.10

My 85YO mother got a kick out of Pro Life last night as she was watching the Idaho gubernatorial debate. And called me to say so. Then, she asked my opinion re: the candidates, especially Butch Otter and Keith Allred. Then, she brought up Pro Life again. So, why don’t you vote for him, I asked, adding: I make a lot of protest votes. When I explained that a protest vote is one that you make for someone who has no chance to win, to send a message, she seemed delighted. I doubt that she has ever made a protest vote before. But I suspect she will Tuesday. Now, for your Wild Card …

ProLife never disappoints. He was hilarious last night. Exchange of the evening was when Otter turned to him and said “You know, you’re right”. And without missing a beat ProLife said “I know I’m right”. Audience erupts in laughter.

    Very interesting KootCo.

Will someone please pass this on to the opencda croud.

I just voted and received the proper ballots. What’s up with that?

@Sis re: “I remember which party ignored the screams of the people.”

    Good luck with that: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html

Heh. Oh c’mon KootCo, I only have this little ad and you have all of Fox News. But thanks for playing.

Dave good for her, at 85 she’s more than earned the right to kick up her heels a little bit.

DFO. With all the success that you are enjoying with the blog, maybe you could convice the SR to get faster/more servers for their system? Download times are horrible. This morning, it took me way too much time to just read the paper, which I pay an online access fee to use. Surfing the blog is clunky as well. Just sayin’, as we like to say.

It is fun watching those like Sis who never have anything to offer - never - other than negtivity contempt and derision.

They really can’t - and won’t - offer anything positive about why any one would, at this point, vote to continue the OBAMA agenda.

They can’t get past being anti-Republican, Fox News, Tea Party, conseravatism, pro-life (how ironic to be anti-pro-life)… all the hot-buttons which set them off.

They have nothing to offer and they cannot even articulate a rational reason to blindly support the OBAMA agenda, other than it isn’t a conservative agenda.

And their mode of communicating on a blog is just like that of a drive-by-shooter … shoot wild and fast, and step on it!

They have nothing to offer and they cannot even articulate a rational reason to blindly support the Tea Party agenda, other than it isn’t a reality-based agenda.

    Oh Richard … .

By the wits, your silver-tipped tongue has lashed Sis and made a mockery of his very soul! Had he known that he was dueling with such an adversary of the written word he would have likely devised a more cunning retort. Alas, that such literary talent should go to waste on such a humorless hell-hated skainsmate that sees not a glib remark made purely in jest, even when it is thrust upward into his very nose!
