Extra patrols are underway at a popular dog park at the state line because police say it’s being used by men looking to have sexual encounters. Patricia Simonet Laughing Dog Park was the first dog park in the Spokane area but now Liberty Lake police say that men show up, meet and have sex in the park. They say the men are becoming more brazen and the problem is getting worse as people are trolling the park’s parking lot at all hours of the day. Jill Regalado and her dogs come to the dog park a lot but she didn’t realize what else goes on here/McKay Allen, KXLY. More here.
Question: Should Coeur d’Alene be worried that its soon to open dog park, Central Bark adjacent to the Northshire subdivison off Atlas, will attract the same problem?

Is nothing sacred? Let’s get motion detection cameras and/or halogen lights to make it more interesting for the involved parties. I’ll buy the first.

What, I have a hard time believing this story. There are a lot of dog parks in king co and nary a sexual encounter in sight. Hmmm I blame all the closeted conservatives in Idaho, not the concept of a dog park

LOL, it’s the closeted conservatives from both sides of the line, then.
“Rest areas are the gay bath houses of the ‘90’s,” according to ‘There’s Something About Mary.’ Are dog parks the rest areas of the 2000’s?

I hope that never happens when my dog is there, he wouldn’t put up with that!

CDA’s dog park is exposed. Everything in the park can be seen from the roads that surround it. The one at state line has many spots of privacy , making it a good place for hookups.

Tomorrow is opening day for the park in Cd’A, I think it will be a great park and a long time coming. Thanks to all that made that park possible.
