Brannon Trial Red Carpet: Final Day

What would the Brannon Election Trial coverage be without a final Red Carpet look at what the key players were wearing today:

  • Judge Hosack:  The judicial robe seemed less poofy today. He wore another white dress shirt with a dark colored tie that contained a gold diagonal stripe.  Pant choice is still unknown but this author has imagined olive cargo shorts with a small frayed patch on the right hand thigh pocket.
  • Mike Kennedy:  Sharply dressed for a Saturday court session with blue jeans, a blue button down shirt that included a subtle graph pattern,  and a classy navy blue sport coat.  Mike set himself a part from the other Coeur d'Alene men in the room who wore jeans because he opted for a handsome pair of black leather cowboy boots.  He looked very Idaho but not in any way resembling Butch Otter.
  • John Cafferty, Esq. is the only man in this trial who could legitimately appear in Esquire.   Today he was observed wearing charcoal grey dress pants with a dark colored sports coat.  Other than the attorneys arguing the case, he was the only man observing the proceeding that dressed for court today.
  • Starr Kelso:  Nice tie and sport coat combination of black & tan colors.  The end of his tie rested about two inches above his belt buckle.
  • Mary, Larry, & even the Press Corps in drop down box below:
  • Deedie Beard:  looked bright in a textured denim-style jacket in a cheerful teal color with black pants and a black stacked heel loafer.
  • Her Sandiness:  White denim-style jacket overlaying a black blouse with horizontal tan stripes.  She also wore black pants and a black stacked heel leather loafer.
  • Christa Hazel:  Denim gauchos with multi-ribbon ballet flats.  A blue scoop neckline long sleeve cotton shirt was paired with a burgundy lace trim tank top layered underneath.  She broke rank with all the other Coeur d'Alene ladies by actually wearing a denim jacket made of real blue denim.
  • Larry Spencer:  Looked casual and relaxed surfing HBO and Facebook this morning  while wearing a long sleeved horizontal striped single pocket collared pullover shirt of black and tan.  This paired well with his relaxed Levis.  He wore a different pair of boat shoes today consisting of weathered brown leather with white athletic socks.  The Superman hair offered a fierce arc in his curl especially noticeable with his side profile view.
  • Bill McCrory (or McCrary as pronounced by Starr Kelso):  The former federal man dressed casually in blue tones by donning blue plaid flannel, loose fitting blue jeans, and a blue zipper cotton jacket.  He was yet another man Coeur d'Alene man who wore brown leather shoes with his jeans.
  • Deanna Goodlander:  Once again Deanna played up her winter tones with a beautiful black blouse made of wrinkle free slinky material.  This material travels well, launders well and also now looks really well in court.  She also wore an amethyst colored vest which really complimented her skin tones.
  • City Deputy Attorney Warren Wilson:  Looked very autumnal with a tobacco colored brushed cotton sport coat, brown plaid button down shirt, brown slacks and soft leather brown shoes.
  • Dan Gookin:  Red button down oxford shirt and blue jeans.  Shoes went unnoticed.
  • Susie Snedaker:  Looked like she stepped out of a 2008 J.Jill catalog with a light sea foam bluish green tunic sweater with light linen pants.  She wore black sueded Merrell-like mule slides sans socks, which is prevalent in North Idaho.
  • Christine Brannon:  In court today wearing black yoga-like knit pants, white tennis shoes, and a pink t-shirt topped with a zebra print zippered sweatshirt.  It is worth noting she carried a fashionable metallic gold purse that followed the well established "If It Goes With Nothing Then It Goes With Everything" Rule.  (If you disagree with this rule, take it up with Oprah.)
  • Gary Ingram:  Wore relaxed fit blue jeans and a roomy soft taupe sweatshirt which advertised it was from Minnetonka, Minnesota.  For the record, this author noticed Gary Ingram was alert and awake all morning in court.
  • Mary Souza:  Best dressed OpenCDA lady today with brown Calvin Klein corduroy 5 pocket jeans worn mom style. She layered her white lace trimmed tank top with a soft peach v-neck sweater.  She looked youthful as her lace trim was properly peeking from her sweater hemline.
  • Tom Hasslinger, Press Reporter:  Looked like a tall glass of lemonade in a pale yellow classic cable knit pullover sweater.  This looked preppy and collegiate with jeans and brown leather shoes.
  • Dan English:  solid colored burgundy flannel shirt with blue jeans.
  • Retired SR Reporter Bill Morlin:  Brown sueded New Balance hiking/running shoes, black socks, tan slacks, a sky blue Orvis-ish nylon shirt with a snazzy grey nylon belt.  His shirt complimented his blue eyes.
  • Kathy Sims:    Legislative candidate Kathy Sims wore black single pocket cargo dress pants.  She paired this with an over-sized velour-like black and gold toned button down blouse that was adorned with a floral tapestry pattern of some sort.   When she stepped outside, she put on a banana yellow nylon jacket with a draw string waist.
  • Inlander Reporter Kevin Taylor:  Dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown leather shoes.  His black barn jacket with a brown corduroy collar befits his profession.
