  • 10:13 p.m. Black Yukon sustained front-end damage in a crash w/multiple elk on H3 @ M/P 106 (Rainy Hill Road), 400 yards south of Valley Mart. No driver at scene. F&G reports 2 elk "salvaged."

  • 9:09 a.m. A fully loaded logging truck is on fire on H95 @ Fighting Creek. Responding officer reports that 4-5 feet of flames are coming from rear axle.
  • 9:03 a.m. An unknown road hazard is reported in Kootenai County Jail parking lot.
  • 8:59 a.m. Man in silver VW bug flipped off another driver on s/b H41 @ Mullan/PF.
  • 8:41 a.m. 2 pitbulls are running loose near Hayden Kindercenter, Govt Way & Hayden.
  • 8:36 a.m. Caller reports white Chevy pickup crashed through her fence @ in 3900 block of N19th/CdA and then drove off w/b on Shadduck.
  • 8:14 a.m. A dead dog is lying along Ramsey & Lancaster in front of girls' softball complex.
