Huckleberries Online

Jeers To … Coeur d’Alene Press …

... for that poorly drawn editorial cartoon published in today's editorial page by anonymous "The Patriot 2011." The cartoon, "The Trojan Mudgee" (note misspelling for Mudgy) fame is depicted as a trojan moose on wheels on McEuen Field (the cartoon genius misspelled Mae McEuen's last name as "McEwen"). The letters "McEwenProject" are shown in the form of turds coming out of the rear end of the "The Trojan Mudgee." On the side of the "Trojan Mudgee" are the words, "CDA City Clowncil" and "LCDC." A stick figure says, "Well, at least it's coming out the proper end of things." Someone inside "Trojan Mudgee" is singing "So long small town America." The person who alerted Huckleberries to the cartoon felt that the artist slimed Mudgy & Millie creator Susan Nipp along with the progressive leaders of Coeur d'Alene. I can't blame the small-minded individual who drew this turd of a cartoon. But Editor Mike Patrick should be ashamed of running it on his Editorial Page.

Question: Anyone notice this below-the-belt shot at McEuen Field upgrade supporters today?
